Collector's Notes: On the cover of More magazine for the October 2008 issue Michelle Obama was in the front. She wore a Mario Pinto dress like the picture shown just a little lighter. It happens to be that Michelle Obama?s favorite color is purple. On the picture of the magazine cover we also see her having an accent on the neckline and a satin bow on the left side.

Collector's Notes: Some say that Oprah was the one who recommended Maria Pinto to Michelle Obama. If she did it?s amazing because it fits her very well. We see Michelle Obama wearing a lot of outfits that resemble Pinto?s designs. The white ruffled white shirt looks like a shirt that Michelle Obama has worn by non other than Maria Pinto herself. With time these designs will definitely be in style, they already are with Michelle Obama wearing them.

Collector's Notes: On October 27, Michelle Obama stated at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that she purchases her own clothing. She spoke about this after it was said that Sarah Palin?s Republican National Committee gave her $150,000 for clothing budget. Michelle Obama wanted to make it known that she does not get money from others to buy her clothes. Her purchases range from J.Crew to Maria Pinto (Cuban-American designer) so if you ever wish to dress like her you have a direction on where to go.

Collector's Notes: Michelle Obama has done it again (but do not worry she has done nothing bad). She has worn Maria Pinto again, which as stated before is one of her favorite hometown designers. On May 14 she went to San Juan, Puerto where she was seen wearing this top. This beautiful ruffled sleeveless top makes Michelle Obama look as impressive as always. No wonder Vanity Fair voted her as "Best Dressed for 2008".
