Collector's Notes: Today during the Inauguration ceremony Michelle Obama wears Isabel Toledo. Toledo is one of the best fashion designers. She is a Cuban American designer based in New York. Michelle Obama has worn Toledo before and this time it looked great as well. Like always nothing looks bad on her and she always pulls off anything she wears.

(2008)

Company: Isabel Toledo
Collection: Wardrobe

Collector's Notes: On June 17 Michelle Obama arrived to a Calvin Klein fund-raiser in Manhattan. To this event she wore a stylish black tunic and palazzo pants. She was going for a sophisticated look and like always she managed to accomplish it. Michelle Obama bought it from a Chicago store called Ikram which sells Isabel Toledo?s clothing. Toledo, a Cuban-American designer, has stated to have felt very honored to find out that the next First Lady was wearing one of her pieces. It has currently been said that Michelle Obama?s representatives have contacted Toledo to work on another peace for her. Do to privacy Toledo has not spoken about the exact peace she is working on for Michelle Obama.

She, like many other designers, dream to dress the First Lady for the Inaugural Ball. This sketch was submitted to PEOPLE, who asked designers Marc Bouwer, Reem Arca and Isabel Toledo to sketch how they will dress Michelle if they were selected to do so.
